Phillips DiPisa Announces Completion of CEO Search for New England Baptist Hospital

Phillips DiPisa, a retained executive search firm serving healthcare providers, managed care organizations, and life sciences firms, today announced that it has completed an executive search project on behalf of the New England Baptist Hospital in Boston. This project has culminated in the Hospital’s appointment of Patricia L. Hannon as its new President and CEO.

Most recently, Hannon served as CEO for Baystate Medical Center and senior vice president for Healthcare Operations with Baystate Health. Hannon had been with Baystate for 15 years, hired initially as director of surgery, anesthesia and women’s health.

In 1997, she was named vice president of clinical services, and then named chief operating officer for Baystate Medical Center in 2000. Ms Hannon was named chief operating officer for Baystate Health in 2004.

New England Baptist Hospital is a 175-bed acute care orthopedic and spine specialty teaching and research hospital. It has a medical staff of 400 and 1,200 employees, and has net revenue of $200 million annually. It is ranked in the top 1 percent of hospitals nationwide and ranks as one of the top hospitals for orthopedic care.

Ms. Hannon received her undergraduate education in nursing from Marymount University and holds an MBA from the New York Institute of Technology.
