Tina Powderly’s approach to the executive search process has been shaped by more than 20 years of experience of being deeply involved in the healthcare sector, from her work within hospitals and the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.
As hospitals expand their scope and focus beyond their walls, focusing on partnerships that address the health and wellness of populations, Tina’s portfolio of activities relating to community benefits, hospital business development, and strategy enrich her executive search capabilities.
Prior to joining Phillips DiPisa, Tina directed the activities of the CEO’s office at Milford Regional Medical Center, a nationally ranked independent community hospital. In this role, she worked closely with the Board of Trustees, medical staff leadership, and senior management to identify and execute strategic priorities. Previously, Tina worked as an independent consultant in business development at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI), helping develop major expansion projects both in outlying communities and at the Boston DFCI campus. Her collaboration with physicians, staff, and administration to conceptualize goals and needs, and to incorporate those perspectives into DFCI’s building expansion and strategic plan helped position the hospital more successfully into its surrounding community. Tina has also served as a healthcare consultant for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, developing pricing analyses, marketing plans, and reimbursement and launch strategies for new products.
Her accomplishments, combined with strong analytical skills, provide her with a unique ability to understand the culture and strategic priorities of her clients, and to partner with her clients to project those priorities to a wider audience.
Tina earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. She also holds an M.S. in Health Policy Management from the Harvard School of Public Health, Boston.
